Ireland Week, Los Angeles

Ireland Week is a major event each year in Los Angeles. Hosting dozens of events covering live music, theatre, visual art, film and TV, sport, and animation as well as many other areas of interest not just to the Irish diaspora in Los Angeles, but to those keen on doing business in Ireland.

The key event is IrelandCon, ‘The Ireland Conference’ which celebrates creativity and innovation across, tech, trade, culture and entertainment.

Our Director, Conor Houston, has spoken at the event in 2018 & 2019, providing a briefing on contemporary business, civic, political and tech developments in Northern Ireland. In 2019 he took part in an ‘In Conversation’ session with Irish Minister of State Patrick O’Donovan TD on the implications of Brexit on the island of Ireland.

Conor is a member of the Advisory Board of Ireland Week.
