The annual One Young World summit brings together 3000+ of the most talented young leaders from global and national companies, NGOs, universities and other forward-thinking organisations.
No other youth led movement represents as many nationalities as the One Young World Summit. Delegates participate in four transformative days of speeches, panels, networking and workshops.
Delegates from 190+ countries are counselled by influential political, business and humanitarian leaders such as Justin Trudeau, Mary Robinson, Sir Richard Branson, Emma Watson and Meghan Markle, amongst many other global figures.
In 2017, our Director Conor Houston addressed the One Young World Summit in Bogota, Colombia, sharing a stage with two Nobel Peace Prize Winners – the late Kofi Annan and President Santos of Colombia.
Inspired by this experience, Houston Solutions put together a high-level steering team, developed a strategy for the bid, engaged with senior stakeholders across political, business, civic, youth and community society and lead the bid process. We submitted the bid and were awarded this global conference in April 2020.
One Young World Belfast 2023 will be one of the most exciting our city will host in the next decade!
